Recent Projects Dec 2008 - Feb 2009 – ‘Science meets theatre’ in partnership with Hands on Science project - A 'performance' to take place on February 2009 at the Sherman Theatre in Cardiff where 20 scientists will share their experiences and science stories with young people from secondary schools across Wales. The students will have the rare opportunity to ask the experts any questions that they like! The scientists have worked with BLC in workshops held at Cardiff University to develop their stories and also learn skills that will help them deliver their stories with confidence and enthuse the young people about science.
November 2008 – Designing and running bespoke workshops in Secondary schools across South Wales. Providing practical and exciting Drama, Media, Radio, Television, Animation and Dance experiences. Allowing young people the opportunity to experience activities not traditionally available in schools. August 2008 – Organising practical workshops for communities and young people in conjunction with several Welsh universities. Offering exciting, practical opportunities for people of varying ages and abilities to come together and learn new skills. July 2008 – Working with First Campus to offer a series of Drama, Dance and animation workshops in Welsh schools on the theme of cultural diversity. Topics included Bollywood Dance, Chinese Ribbon dancing, Traditional ethnic storytelling and myths and legends.
